Nvidia to launch 9800 GX2 in March?

Really do wonder what kind of temperatures people should expect from this card.

Performance however should be pretty awesome :D

I think I read somewhere its going to have an estimated TDP of ~250w?

No thats their next one.

This one is 200 I think?

Nothing some heatpipes cant take care of.

Isn`t it strange with all the pc tech stuff, u never goto the manufs website to get informations.. cos there`s nothing there.

How bout they have a "new stuff" section and pish off all these guesstimate sites ?

Guess the rumours sometimes do the manufacturer good. Afterall, it's like free advertising.

Even if the true specs isn't as good as the rumours, it will have held many people off buying from the competitor until launch

Apparently the scores are only so low due to a driver issue meaning the GX2 is only running one one core - should see much better scores when it can run at full capacity :D

BS, if it was just one core it wouldn't have beat out the 9800GTX. There will still be a huge bottleneck with phenom though.

Well you explain to me how the GX2 on Q9 Extreme OC'd to 4Ghz is only putting out 14K when that score is easily beaten by a 3870X2 and a Q6600 right now ;)

Because ATI cards always do well in 3dmark06 compared to nvidia cards. And the 3870x2 is still a very powerful card.

Well for a card toted as the X2 killer thats not very promising is it? ;)

Besides that score is also beatable with an overclocked GT or GTS and a nice big processor :D and it doesn't get much bigger than the processor they used to test the GX2.

Same CPU, ati always wins at 3dmark06.
