Nvidia teases their Titan X Collector's Edition

Lol what over dramatic ladies talk.... I dont see any hate comments at all.

Just people stating their opinions about yet another Titan card that MIGHT be just the same as the others with a slight tweak.

Its Nvidia milking the market and they WILL make some sales of this card for sure. Look at the Titan Z..... even that sold.

Remember, Opinions = hate speech to people with fragile egos ;)

The only people with fragile egos are the ones posting the usual Titan hate.

You have got to have a thick skin to own a Titan.:p

No hateful comments, Just amazement at Nvidia milking it a bit too much.

Always makes me laugh and cringe a little that people think criticizing an electronic product is hate speech, That's slightly insane thinking and teetering on 1984 behaviour.

I think Titans are brilliant for what they are but 3 x Titans in 1 GPU generation is overboard.

Hahahah or is that the voices of your typical Nvidia Fan Boy?

In my case then its not a money thing - I can if I want too buy a Titan RGB Delux Edition but what is the need for me if I have now a 1080ti. I still think its just a move to milk any more out of Pascal - like the 1070ti move.

This.

Constructive criticism or opinions posted among chaps on a forum are not 'hate speech'.

Well I just thought I would chip in and say I am not anti Titan at all. I've had three gens now (blacks, so Kepler) Maxwell X and XP.

I was pretty annoyed about the Blacks. Then I learned to let some one else buy one, get bored of it and then get it for a massively cut down price. The XM I paid around £490 for two months before the 1070 came out. That was with the Hybrid kit. I sold it for £330 a few months back. So now I have the XP which I paid £675 for. I will easily get a good chunk of that back should I sell it.

At the end of the day like Apple there is no point hating stuff like this. People are not led to it at gunpoint and they can make their own decisions. If it works for Nvidia? then cool.

However, *if* this is another Pascal Titan I would be quite wary myself. Especially this close to Volta (a few months maybe). I made that mistake buying Titan Blacks for £799 each about a month before the 970 and 980 came out. Won't make that mistake again.

Maybe you should have seen my first ever post on this forum where I mention the Titan word, some of the replies it generated actually put people off joining this forum. The real comical part about it was they were life long AMD users.

How thick does your skin have to be to own 4 of them? :p

Not 4, I have 14

4 Kepler
4 Maxwell
4 Pascal X
2 Pascal Xp

And I don't care what people think as it is my hobby.

I think you have an awesome hobby. I would know since I have a very similar one. :D I hope I never showed you or anyone else any resentment. If I had the money, I would be no different. And that's not a plea for sorrow or pity. People work hard for their passions, probably harder than me.

It sucks that people were put off joining the forum. I've seen that in the past on other forums. I'm a moderator of one of the bigger guitar forums and over the years I've seen some really pompous clowns talk down to newbies and squash the fundamentals of what makes the Internet so cool: everyone gets to speak.

A while back at a party someone said they weren't keen on Apple products due to the companies attitudes and there was this 1 crowd that honestly looked like you'd just shot a puppy.

I find it really odd how people get emotionally attached to companies that only care about the paper in their wallets.

just had an email from nvida pushing it , looks like its being done for star wars , but pre order price is £1149 serious ouch
