Haven't been here for stonkin yonks. How is everyone? (If you're still here that is).

OK down to the nitty gritty.

Is it just me or is anyone else having probs with nVidia series 7 v178.24 drivers?

I find that when they are installed there's no control over the digital vibrance and the image sharpening is disabled, resulting in a washed out cr@ppy display.

They've been like that for months now with no sign of a fix from nVidia anytime soon.

And they've even had the audacity to stamp them with the WHQL logo

Someone somewhere is telling porkies.

I did actually read thru that guide. But I've always kept everything updated and avoided betas.

I'm staying with 175.19 at the mo as they were the last release that actually worked.

I've found the 180.24 fine, but then again my comparison was something like 160 (if that) and that was before the hard disk (complete with boot sector) decided to die...sniff...I don't actually use that machine for much more than surfing the internet, downloading drivers and heating the room.
