Nvidia RTX 4060 with ASUS Dual and Gigabyte Windforce Review

Well can safely say it's not exactly an upgrade on last gen in any way, there are better cards to be had than this one and at lower prices, but there it's the norm with nvidias stack they clearly have a lot of old stock cause all the prices totally suck.

imho if you really want a nvidia card at this kind of price get a 3060ti your have a wider bus more vram and will get better performance and games will be able to load textures.

these cards all of them bar maybe the 4080 and for sure the 4090 suck worst part is the next few gens are going to be even more expensive and i doubt nvidia will change tactics most likely just gouge more.

rotfl... gamers nexus, hardware unboxed etc etc. say it´s sh*tty value.

some compare it to a GTX 1660 class card for too much money.

here it gets a value award.

How the eff can OC3D consider this value for money? im sorry but what?!

First time I think you guys have got it disasterously wrong.

Agree to a point without being 100% negative on tom as generally tells things how he seems them and i'd say stating the good points while only stating the negative if it's annoying him a lot seems to be how i view the reviews.

Thing is I've noticed some on twitter and such saying amazingly positive things about it cause they will fly off the shelves at $299.

I couldn't let that slide, then the reply was from them that people don't care or look into the details much on things at this price.

Also couldn't let that slide as anyone i know if spending a decent amount wants to know everything first before buying, Just feels false when most all normal people are going to avoid these cards and the whole generation due to the price and the fact they are not much of an upgrade.

3060ti or 6700XT or even the Intel A750 in my view are better buys than this adding to that a lot more vram on them cards, nvidia adding cache and expecting it to make up in the vram department isn't going to solve things and at 1440p that card is going to run into some road blocks.

honestly his view on price is wrong for a long time.
it seems to be out of touch with the general population.

the technical side of the reviews is mostly ok.
thought as most reviews the focus is too much on a few celsius or fps more or less.
i don´t know how often i bought a mainboard in the past that was praised by reviewers only to encounter issues after just one day of usage.

you see such things reported in user forums but no reviewer mentions them.

but the issues are often obvious. you can often find them reported just 1-2 days after a release.
so a reviewer who does more then running a few benchmarks should notice them.

ok it is maybe out of scope for a review, because they need to be out fast for release date or the view count will be low.

but it makes these product reviews only worth so much.

Needs a larger bus width and more memory
Would be fine other than that.

You will buy cheap and buy twice. 4090 will probably keep you happy for the better part of 6-8 years, you'll be getting itchy with a 4060 in 3/4 years. And in Jenson's mind, what are you gonna do? buy team red or blue? haha you'll come crawling back at some point :evil1:
