So apples to apples it can not beat the 2080Ti in RTX. Port Royal is about as linear as it is ever going to get, so it should beat it if it were better.
The big problem with this card will be regular performance and, if the 3080 is anything to go by, lower clock speeds than the 20 series. If the 3070 is already boosting to the limit that doesn't bode well for it.
Still, if you can even get one (you won't be able to) then it's at least reasonable price per perf. Good, even. That said if it's rocking horse crap all of that becomes meaningless.

Scan sold some. Heard they are also listed on Amazon too but not had any stock yet.
Wonder if NV will sell any 3070's directly.
They are handed off their store. I guess its Scan then if you say they sell them. One etailer will take all sales from here on. No more sold direct from their website.

It's a shame the FE can't be made by all vendors like they used to with the 780, 780 Ti, 980, 980 Ti, 1080 and 1080 Ti.

And then sent on to companies to put their sticker on and a box for it to be sold in.
I thought it was Foxconn manufacturer that made Nvidia cards and final assembly. They also make EVGA if i remember correctly.

Nope Manli made them. The PCBs however? could be Foxconn yes.

No other company sold FE cards apart from Nvidia.
Nvidia stopped selling them directly via their store. Now third parties will do it. in the states its Best Buy. Not sure how other places are handling it.
