Nvidia reveals their RTX 3060 graphics card - A true GTX 1060 successor?

So does that put it around the 2060 Super range? Man that 12GB vram though. Will make for an excellent budget 3d visualization card. Still disappointed in the vram on the 3000 cards, this 3060 nailed it though. 8GB on the 3070 should have been higher.
 
That seems pretty underwhelming actually, rest of the range received a larger performance uplift.
 
To be fair 2060 was $349 MSRP at launch, so at least they're going to the right direction. I wonder if they've taken the US tariffs in account.

Factoring in 2% inflation, $329 MSRP would have been $270 ten years ago. So that's still significantly pricier than GTX 460 which launched for $199 in 2010.
