Nvidia reveals full specifications for its RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 GPUs

Yeah prices are backwards. But I'll take a 3090 at $500 :D

What's interesting to me is that they say the 3070 is around as fast as a 2080ti, yet it has around 36% more cores and has higher clock/memory speeds. Are Nvidia telling us IPC went down? Lol

I also feel like Nvidia love just making up xxFLOPs measurements just to confuse people. They just keep adding new ones. Just as long as people stop using TFLOP measurements and trying to compare across architectures. I don't even think there's a standard formula for calculating how Nvidia arrive at their numbers.

The 3070 is enough for me won't be switching monitors any time soon tbh, Once AIB's put on there bling i'd still expect them to be getting to £550 but it's still far better pricing than I was expecting.

I'm hoping AMD can have a good reply to these cards they have done so well at keeping quiet that idk what they really have coming but hopefully good things :)

I hope my F5 game is strong enough to order a 3080 on launch, seems pretty baller.

I don't think big navi will be a great contender, maybe in pure rasterisation (wasn't 2080Ti * 1.2 performance rumoured?) but with worse software and driver stack.

The 3070 & 3080 pricing isn't too bad. It'd have to be £450 & £600 for me to fully approved.

Now, let's see what the red team do, and then I'll be buying myself a treat for Christmas!

I'm really confused. Like, really.

I watched on Nvidia's site. It was a ooo, 10 min tops chat about the cards and showing the cards, nothing else. There was one slide IIRC.

Now all of a sudden some guy was watching what seems like a different, much longer video.

What gives?

I must add that I really like single slot connectors on 3xxx cards. No more useless USB C and that hopeless connector that pokes in 2nd slot.

And imagine slick single slot line with water block installed.
