Nvidia releases their Geforce 376.19 Game Ready driver

Nvidia has released their new Geforce 376.19 Game Ready driver, which comes with optimisations for Oculus Touch launch titles.

These driver posts need a lot more information because as of right now they are very anemic, For example post videos and info about the games now supported, Different download links to different versions i.e Windows 7, 8.1 etc... compatible GPU's, A proper Nvidia header, Link to the driver release notes PDF etc....

I don't mind doing these in the driver section for every Nvidia driver release.

I actually agree, I prefered Dice's driver posts (Sorry Mark). It's more than bulletin news to me and there's a lot more information to be had from a driver release

I'm new to Windows 10, and was wondering what you guys would advise about driver updates?

Do you leave it to Windows 10 to do the updates automatically for you, do you download them directly each time one is released, or do you use the NVidia GeForce Experience utility to do it?

I update the drivers when I see them announced here or on guru3d.com.

Either way I dont let windows do it.

Agreed, the format needs to improve moving forward. Make more information easily available to our reader base.

Onwards and upwards dude just gotta get the right formula definitely not a sleight on your work. we know how hard you work, but driver updates need a somebody who can put a little more time into it maybe?

Dont ever let windows do it for you. GeForce Experience update is ok, but I still prefer the good'ol DDU followed by the driver downloaded directly from nVidia/AMDs site.

seconded, I *never* let windows, or even GeForce Experience run my driver updates, infact I don't install GeForce Experience because it's pants (imo).

I use driver cleaner and a fresh download of the drivers, every single time.

I have updated this driver update based on a few of the criticisms which were posted earlier in the thread.

If there are any further improvements or suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

In future, I will plan to add a little more of my own writing to these driver updates, though this will heavily depend on what each driver update changes. I will also try to move these threads from the News section to the drivers section, where the conversations are better suited.
