Nvidia releases a statement regarding their telemetry monitor

Rather a pertinent point here, and one NVIDIA seem to be in need of updating:

http://www.geforce.com/privacy-policy

Section 2 states that if you use their website, mobile apps, or "services", they may collect "personal information".

GFE is one such service according to NVIDIA, and thus by their own Terms of Service it can and does collect personally identifiable information, they will then pass that information along, without explicit consent, to other companies as they see fit as detailed in Section 4 of the TOS.

So either their brand new, freshly updated terms of service are wrong, or their recently issued statement is wrong. Either way, something isn't right.

But is that not the terms of service for things other than their driver ?

A driver isn't really a service, Mobile app etc.... so it stands to reason that there would be different TOS for each item.

As I said, they been doing this for a long time since GFE 1.0 and they are on 3.0 now. Really not a big deal. Didn't bother you before, shouldn't now
