I think it will be 1080 Ti. Nvidia is probably going to release it before Vega, and stabilize itself on the market. Hype is big now before CES 2017. Perfect opportunity to grab the attention of reviewers and buyers, and to be the only big graphics card subject.

I agree with this. NVidia owns a huge mind/market share, but AMD's new CPU is a massive deal. A 1080ti is just a cheaper version of a product already in production.

Really don't think so. There are A LOT of people outside of just gamers who are watching AMD like a hawk. There whole business is riding on Zen. Just look at there stock market, everytime a Zen thing popped up that was new/confirmed, there stock skyrocketed. Which is why it's extremely high right now(compared to years of low stock previously).
Nvidia are going against 2 defining products from AMD. They can announce it and they will get coverage. But AMD will still strike back with the other product to keep the hype. People know where the TI is. We don't know anything about Zen or Vega, it's a more exciting and click bait launch, which is what they need badly...
Completely agree here. CES will be about AMD. I think Nvidia is that little child trying to get the attention it lost to a new born baby. We keep hearing good things about Ryzen right now. I think even if Nvidia do announce the 1080ti or even 1090 dual gpu... it will be shadowed by the AMD offerings.
