Nvidia has cancelled its GTC Keynote - It will be replaced with news announcements

"Is Nvidia ready to reveal its answer to RDNA 2?"

They don't need an answer. Whether people like it or not Nvidia is still at least 2 or more years ahead of AMD. Their Radeon team still can't beat Pascal in both performance and efficiency and those cards are 4 years old.

And not to mention driver problems. HWUnboxed reported loads of people selling their brand new 5700 cards and replacing them with Nvidia's. AMD is losing existing customers instead of getting new ones. That is a completely wrong direction. AMD cards are also pretty much useless for streaming, and any kind of professional work. So they have a lot to work with software and implementation.

I would really like to see AMD competing with Nvidia, but they are still so far away. :(

You don't know any of that. Nvidia hasn't leaked anything and neither have AMD.

Every one said Zen would not compete with Intel and how much Intel had up their sleeves. Two years later Intel have basically admitted they have nothing.

I'm not saying you're not correct, but until you and we get the facts I'm not saying you are either.

I think it's fair to say with RDNA1 AMD were lagging about behind NVidia by a generation in terms of arch, but when you factor in that NVidia are a generation behind AMD in terms of node they ended up quite close in terms of the end products efficiency, especially when you factor in that a card like the 5700XT can have a 40% reduction in power consumption with little more than 5% loss in performance if you tune the card for efficiency clock speeds more like NVidia does. Arguably AMD's only issue with desktop efficiency is that they try to squeeze every %age perf out their cards at stock.

I think everything will be somewhat on hold atm, they must have had plenty planned this year and the way things are it's going to be a while until we know anything serious I feel from both sides, I expect they will talk about the tech but not prices and details which is what we really want.

Yeah Jen couldn't possibly do a stream where noone claps or cheers or laugh at his crap jokes

Tosser.
