Nvidia GTX 980 Ti launching June 2nd at Computex Taipei

Could have more.. nothing's confirmed. Also may be air cooled versions as well. I don't think the 4GB will be an issue tbh. We just have to see how it all plays out really

According to quite a few big names it will be limited to 4GB BUT they will bring an 8GB GDDR5 version out and HBM 2 will have a much larger memory capacity.

Ya that's what I should have said, in the future most likely a higher memory count should be available. HBM 2 will be 2GB per stack so easily 8GB unless they can add more stacks somehow:)

They might do a bridging type chip so they can have 8GB of HBM, We'll know soon enough :)

Yeah you're right NBD, all rumours and speculation at the moment.

To be honest I'll probably be waiting until the performance of both is public and waterblocks are readily available.

This is exactly what I will be doing, waiting for the best reviewed cooler OC 980ti, which I am sure will outperform a Titan X save for the lesser VRAM.

Very unlikely

Compare the GPUZ screenshot of the 980ti up against a Stock EVGA SC Titan X

The Titan X can also hit clockspeeds very close to an overclocked GTX 980 which means the 980ti won't have any OC headroom advantage to make up for the lack of cores compared to the TXs. Compare Pixel and Texture fillrate to see what I mean.:)
