They're really trying to cater for every market with the 8 series. I wonder how the 8600 ultra will compare to the 8800gts and 8600gts (obviously it'll be in between them but what will the price/performance be).
link isn't dead but its no vr-zone, im sure theres very minor architectural difference in the 8800 Ultra to the rest of the 8800 series core, its just a marketing technique to pull more cash in.
