AlienALX Well-known member Apr 7, 2025 #3 This doesn't surprise me. IE making cuts on game driver developments to free up resources for more AI bs. I didn't try the new drivers on the 4080. Just used the ones recommended.

I wonder when that will happen Click to expand... This is probably the result of incorporating AI. Honestly in the times I've used both AMD and Nvidia I have always had more issues with Nvidia. AMD were flawless back when I had there cards. Nvidia were fine for a while but once I find a stable driver I don't upgrade for quite a long time. Just in case they screw something up.

Yeah AMD right now on the driver side are really solid, Nvidia though are iffy as hell.
