200hz? if you like your gpu to run idle clocks then you're going to have to wait. Currently it won't go into idle (i.e it'll be running performance clocks) unless you're running the monitor at 120hz or less. Can't RMA that. But won't the Freesync one be the Acer Predator X35? The 35" 1920x1080 monitor? At 200Hz?... Or will there be a different one?.
I've grown into the 980Ti to be honest hehe![]()
You don't need gsync if you're going to be running a flagship gpu on a 1080p, high refresh rate screen. It really is only worth it if you're running a high resolution screen with gpu that can struggle to run everything at above the refresh rate of the monitor.
Infact 200hz is pretty much pointless at this time as very few games run above the framerate (thus causing screen tearing) to justify spending that much on a 200hz monitor. The ones which do, you don't want any type of framerate-refresh rate synchronization as that will add input lag (which, yes, you still get some with Gsync..).
Not sure why you're still a fan of that GPU if you're having to RMA them on a daily basis..
