NVIDIA Demonstrates 3D Blu-ray Playback Accelerated on GeForce & 3D Vision Technology
Zomg, a not-anti-nVidia article >.<
NVIDIA 3D Vision Ecosystem Expands Once Again to Include Support for 3D Blu-ray HD Playback and New 120Hz, 1080p 3D LCD Displays.
2010 is poised to be the year where consumers can enjoy stunning 3D experiences across all entertainment mediums, including gaming, photographs, Web browsing, and of course, movies. And, with the forthcoming 3D Blu-ray specification expected to be formally announced later this year, NVIDIA and its partners are pleased to announce that the amazing 3D experience that has proven so popular in movie theaters is about to come home.

Seen a bunch of this stuff shown off at one of the shows earlier in the year. What impressed me was the ability to make something 3D that inherently wasnt. Many well known manufacturers were also demoing their versions, and now it appears nVidia hardware is going to accompany BR players. Acer are showing some new monitor/tvs to go along with all this.
Not something I'd personally buy, mostly cos of the price versus how much use I'd get out of it.

Another strange rumor came from a financial person's page, was that Intel appear to be lining up to purchase nVidia. I'd not say anything, but I'd heard it somewhere else b4 I read it on the financial pages.
*w8s for TheInquirer/FarFromAccurate to make something up regarding it*
(being as there's also an article in existance that tries to explain how that couldn't work, or shouldn't work - but in the hardware press not financial)
