Nvidia delays GeForce 8800GTS

It should be better than a GTX judging by the GT.

Thankfully I'm not fussed about this card as I have no sli mobo, a single one won't outperform 38's CF.

Its all about the new GTX in 2008 :D

Thanks for the info Peev

I wish they'd sort out their naming system.

I think they have, something weird like D9E for the new Enthusiast range, D9M for mainstream etc...

Whatever happened to the '50' for the refresh? 8850GTS or something

I guess this makes it more likely for us to see a 8800GTX refresh before we catch wind of the fabled 9800GTX beast next year

Dec 11th... Looks like I'll have to pick one up if it's better than the GT until the GTX refresh comes out... Biggest regret in my computing life is not buying the GTX when it was released. Damn you people who said the GTS 640 was just as good OC'd - it wasn't at all lol.

lol Im glad I sold my 640mb last week for £170, good price considering what people are getting the GT for, just waiting for the premium price to drop for them and the GTS to come out

Yeah I sold my 640 as soon as the GT came out, got £200 which isn't bad. Roll on the next gen. I'm so close to starting a rant off topic. Stupid computers. Damn requirements. I'm a ray of sunshine today.

Anyone getting the feeling that one of the main reasons why this is being delayed is due to the number of people who have already backordered the 8800GT?

If they release the GTS now, think of all those cancellations!
