If Volta is anything like Pascal, then the titan will probably v102, and v100 will just be for Tesla.

I own a Titan XP, The older model not the new, So Titan hate would make no sense, It's your attitude that needs a major overhaul.

Well, I thought that about any titan user buying for gaming, regardless of generation Black, Black 2, X, XP etc etc.

I suppose its all personal preference.. i mean personal insanity. If you have the money to burn, why not. Its not like that get replaced or outdated in 6months is it. ^_^

My brother buys quite literally 2, Sometimes 3 of every top end Nvidia card as soon as they land, no matter if it's 980 Ti, Titan black, 1080 Ti, Titan X, Titan XP, Titan Xp and I know for certain he will be getting 2 of this new Titan V as he messaged me as soon as the news broke "Guess what I'm getting " just such an epic waste of money and computational power.
