Proves that this card is the king of the hill - even an interim update on the x1900 series will struggle to beat this babay - and at only £480 a card, for those that dont want SLI but want great performance this cards succedes in ticking all the boxes.

Kudos to Nvidia for allowing the quad sli cards to run in single mode (ie you only need one).

It would be interesting to see how this card fairs against the multi GPU solutions in the same price bracket (2x X1800XT and 2x 7900GT for example).

Looks like it would be quite loud though, cooler looks similar to the 7600/7900GT, and you couldnt really change it, so your overclocks are going to be limited. I would be interested to see the difference in power draw between it and a full mulit card setups.

Well the XFX unit comes pre-clocked at 570/1350, power draw is slightly lower than an SLI set of 7800GTX, just a bit more than a standard Single X1900XTX

One thing that nvidia have doen with this is make it very, very quiet - all the reviews I have seen comment on this.

will you be able to run these cards in SLI out of the box on my DFI expert?

Yep been reading on another forum about a bloke with the same motherboard you have and these card`s.:)

It's as fast as 2x X1900XT in some tests and only 3-12 fps in others so..... yes definitely.

In fact anyone looking to have the best single card speed should be buying this card as it's almost as fast as the fastest SLI/Crossfire set-up for only £400ish

Cheers
