Not so good (or may be worst ever) Christmas gift

Hi fellow members,
Although I'm not celebrating Christmas, I truly enjoy the the spirit of Christmas and carol.^_^ seeing others having gift exchange and enjoying the holidays while celebrate my mom birthday.
and this year christmas, i have a worst gift ever in my life...
my gaming rig get stolen while i'm on holiday with my mom.
the "best" part of it, it is only my rig get "carried" away and leave my room just like that without taking any other things.

mind to share your happy moment and your christmas gift.
ps: planning to to build a new one with tracker....:rolleyes:

Although things happened, I wish all members Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :):lol: All the best!!
 
my 2 year old got a little carried away, tripped and went head first into the corner of the door frame,

has a lovely lump on his head now. other than that i don't really celebrate it so to speak, its more about the kids than me.


Sorry to hear about your rig, but hope your mom had a enjoyable day
 
is he ok now?
the kids like it most. for young alduts, it is more to party and hang over.. :lol:
now, looking for a new rig. i will post in relevant section for suggestion and advice.

Already logged a police report. According to police experience, they said that it is an inside job as the padlocks and door knobs are not broken, ONLY the rig taken, other things still in order, and ONLY my room was broke in.
Later, I will ask the police officer to "invite" my housemates for investigation.
For the warranties, I dont think they will cover on theft.
 
That's a serious shame good luck with a new one. I would interrogate my room mates myself as it seems strange that the room is in perfect order apart from the pc missing. A pc tower is a little big for a thief to carry down the street without being noticed.

My sky internet decided to die on me.

I had an okay Christmas as money was tight this year but my dogs loved it and i got a nice new camera so no complaining my dogs love opening the presents.

finally a guy confessed that his friends took my rig and blamed me that my door was not locked.
d@rn him!! even not lock, they have no right to take my things.
i have asked him to pay back euro1750 before 15th Jan. otherwise, legal action will be taken against him.
now draft a agreement for him to sign...

Dont for get compensation and make sure you check everything if you get it back you dont want no dodgy parts being swapped out. Also i would now look for new room mates as your current one seems highly untrustworthy.
 
that ~1750euro is for the compensation...
i highly doubt that i can get all the component back. (he even took monitor, keyboard etc).
anyone could suggest a complete set (which include the monitor, keyboard and mouse) with that money?
just hope that he dont play with me....
I already move out to another place, which seem more homely and safe.

Sucks why not tell the police you know who took it surely your room mate knows where he lives and let the police get your stuff back?
 
even if that i can get back my stuff, i need to check all the components are working fine... why the hassle...
just ask for the compensation only... as long as he pay...that's all i want...

You can still add to file the persons information and tell the police that currently you do not want to press charges. But that may change.
 
i also attached to it. just dont know what have he or they have done to my rig... some components price have increased... have to watch my budget...
 
Tell the police your roomate knows who took it. If you avoid doing this the legal agreement of the 1750 will not fly in court. I don't know about you but i work hard as hell for my money. Also, get one of these, it's got a wood stock so the hippies wont get too mad.

i also save that money for a looong time to bought that rig...
