Hi all! I can overclock my Opteron to a whopping 3047MHz for SuperPi and I can run the CustomPC benchmarks all day at 2990MHz (not tried higher since I got the extra MHz out of the CPU) Thing is though... anything higher than 2952 and 3Dmark wont run- the game test will load up, then the screen goes black when i`d expect to see the test start.
Mav and myself have discussed it, and from the outset it looks like too high-a power draw when everything powers up for 3DMark, but I tried unplugging what I could and there was no benefit.
Has anyone got any ideas? I still "like" the idea of not enough power, but from your OC experience(s) can you run all benchmarks (2D and 3D) at the same max speed?

I dont think the temp bug is an issue anymore- there was a driver release that fixed it
