Noob needs help overclocking

Hey everyone I just got a new NVIDIA 8800 GT a couple days ago and I want to push my machine to the limit so to speak. I am set up with a K9n platinum board, the 8800 GT, 4600+ AMD Athlon 64 dual core, and CORSAIR XMS2 DHX 4GB (2 x 2GB). I have tried to search around this forum for a guide that's helpful to noobs but I haven't found anything that it's working for me. I don't know really anything about this yet. I am looking for someone to help me out or to point me toward some sort of guide someone has written. I know how to get into the bios and I know where to go to change settings there I am just unsure as to what programs to use to monitor temperature, speed, and I don't know what exactly to alter and how much to alter it by.

If anybody has any help I would greatly appreciate it.

First of all, the programs that you have to use.

1) CPU-Z is useful to verify settings that you have selected when you are not in the BIOS.

2) SuperPI if you want a short speed test (note that it is pointless for stability testing, so you won't REALLY need this, but you can if you want).

3) Orthos, probably the most popular test. Make sure you download the multicore version.

4) CoreTemp, the best temperature reader.

As for overclocking, it is a case of bringing up the FSB speed, testing for stability, if it isn't stable, bump up the voltage a step, until it is stable, then continue. It can be a long process at times. If you search Google, there are lots of good guides around that can help you with this.
