Still disappointed. They already had these fans in Black. Couldn't care less about the heatsink. I want the new AF12x25 fans in all black.

AFAIK, they are having issues getting th fan blades the right colour. Notice on the A12x25 that the colour of the fan isn't uniform. The plastic and forming process they use doesn't work well with all colour options.

That said, I'd love to see those fans in black.

That's what they said. My fans are perfectly uniform. It just depends where they get manufactured. Based off the older fans with these color uniformity issues.

But yes we need them in black. These are the best fans easily on the market and probably will be for the next decade.

Now if you want black Noctua cooler you don't need to pay double to replace fans and for cromax addons.

I understand their philosophy of having a brand identity. When you saw baby puke/diarrhea brown fans you knew they were Noctua. Now they don't need that anymore. They are THE benchmark. If they release black AF12x25 I seriously doubt they could make enough of them to meed the demand. Does anyone even buy standard Noctua fans now when cromax is out?

Imagine white Noctua fans... Omg... I would pay double for the white AF12x25.

That's not what I mean. Not uniformity between factories. What I mean is how the Noctua colours the sterrox polymer used for their NF-A12x25 fans.

Look at the image below and you will see there are visible pressure points and lines across the fan that give it a non-uniform colour. This would be a lot more noticeable with a black fan, giving it a greyish appearance that wouldn't match the fan's frame.

That picture doesn't indicate anything. It could just be the lighting hitting the top of the blades differently than the inner part of the blade.

I have these fans and they colors aren't different. Same across the blade

Zoom in, the ridges are very clearly not due to lighting.
