Noctua NH-U12P or Thermalright TRUE 120?

Hi!

Which is quieter and more effective, the Noctua NH-U12P or Thermalright TRUE 120 (with a 120mm Noctua fan on it)?

When you're talking about s775, the TRUE will probably be better. I'd love to say the Noctua is better but it usually ends a few degrees lower than the TRUE.

Make sure that you get the P version. This is the one thats designed to blow through fans. p for powe, s for silence ;D

Noctua is better because it already brings a fan and doesn't require lapping.

The true doesnt require lapping... but RSC08 is right with the fact that it doesnt have a fan... have you considered the coolermaster V8... its a very nice cooler ...
