That was rather un-majestic from her

Woo Hoo! I have been sat on hot coals since I won (for more than this reason) poor post woman thinks I fancy her

I fancy my postwoman. She's lovely. She looks like Lisa from Eastenders (you know the wavy haired blond with the croaky voice?).

In the summer she wears shorts too

The eagle has landed. Repeat, the eagle has landed.

I do have one complaint though. I almost got a bloody hernia carrying it up the friggin stairs !

Excess = good.

EDIT. OMG where are my manners

An enormous thankyou to Noctua (who now dominate my PC) and Tom and co. You guys rawk so hard.

I'm not deterred by the fact that it fouls my side panel by a good two inches and am already plotting of ways to get it in there.

Yeah it came from foreign shores

I'm just in a real pickle now about how to use it

I want to so bad. Not that it will improve overclocks because this chip brick walls no matter what at over 3.5ghz but because it has meaning.

There is a way to do it but sadly I lack the modding tools to actually do it and it would cost me more than the cooler is worth to buy them.

I have also being been visited by Postman Pat today, well Postwoman Lucy really and she brought me the goo news too.

Thanks to Noctua and OC3D for this awesome prize I hope my case is big enough but then again, that problem may be sorted soon I hope

.

As soon as I get time to install it I will post pics up. I am so looking forward to a quiter PC and way better temps, thanks again OC3D and Noctua.

Had a bit of free time so went from picture 1 , to picture 2 and then had a fright looking at the paste of teh old stock fan in picture 3.

So glad I did not try to overclock, but now I know I can

Looking great Chudders

I've been concocting ways of making mine fit and I think I've got the plan now. Would also allow me to show some real modding spirit too.

It's just hard finding acrylic sheeting in green that's big enough to cover the area I need it to... I shall continue to brain storm

Alien OMG that things is ridiculously way to large. Its like adding a 50 story tower block to the side of your case. I knew they were big but not that big.

What is it like for fitting and what were your temps before and after fitting mate.

Epic cooler tbh dude.

Tbh im still running amy AC7 in one of my q6600 systems and its still handles at stock speeds and volts perfectly well abit its getting old and noisy now. How ever adding a high story building to my system doesn't interest me (esp now ive just seen the price of that monster) as i would still like to keep to my WCing efforts.

im not saying its a bad cooler as i dont know just saying its way to big and seems over kill to me. It would be interesting to put some thing like that up against a semi decent (2 x 120mm) water cooling system and compare results make for a dammed good read and nice review.

Mind you if i was given one i wouldn't complain as id hammer the hell out of it hehe.

Noctua's mounting system is nothing short of fabulous.

It's also really nice that they haven't changed it. So now I can go between three coolers without removing the retention mech

it wouldnt be a match for a proper wc set up that is fact, but as the simples that is air cooling goes you cant beat it it cools epic it mounts super easy and concidering the colour choices of noctua fans looks pretty bitchin

For £60 mate it would walk over a WC kit. The noctua is the reason I went back to air. Its quieter than two 120mm fans blowing through a rad aswell.

Now we all know what I was like with water, and for a high end rig its fine but for the average joe enthusiast you dont HAVE to ahve water for silly clocks and quietness any more.
