No High End Steamroller Opterons in 2014, What of the Steamroller FX Chip?

I've posted a link to one... guess no one read my post earlier.

I saw that, but it only sees us out of 2013. I was speculating (and hoping) that AMD are going to release a Steamroller FX chip sometime in 2014, as that would justify my decision to go with AMD for my next build, assuming of course that they still keep it on AM3+ as they said originally.

Though considering Excavator is supposed to be on a different (new?) platform it would probably make more sense for them to put Steamroller on there first so there's a simple upgrade path to Excavator rather than requiring a whole new build.

Looks like 2014 FX steamroller will be the release then. Go with PD now and wait till SR comes out.

I saw your post, but I'm talking about a 2014 roadmap.

There's no mention of the Steamroller FX chips in the roadmap you're pointing to.
