Yeah but this strongly points to the fact there is a new console coming. They only bin things when there is no point.

Just like they should have binned the Sega 32X, modem and gawd knows what else crap they have done as a tide me over in the past.

As a switch owner with huge game digital library i can only say that without backward software compatibility im leaving nintendo platform forever.
