Newbie Folder!!

Hey guys,

I've just started folding (still need to work out all the abbreviations and jargon lol).

I'm currently running it on my Phenom II X4 964 @4Ghz: is this enough, or should I overclock higher? I can take it to about 4.4 with watercooling, but its right on the raggedy edge!!

Can I run it on my HD 6950? When I selected autodetect it did nothing.
I have my old 9800 GTX, but not sure I really want to put this in, because I game a lot as well.

Do I get anything to show of my efforts? (It's hard to say that without sounding selfish, but it's not intended that way)


Oh one more thing, if I set this up on a second computer, do I use the same username and passkey?

Yes, if you start folding on another computer, and you want the points to be in your name, you should enter the same details that you have done already - same username, passkey, and the same ever important team number!
The higher the clock the more points you'll get, but if 4.4GHz causes instability for you, I wouldn't bother.
The AMD cards do not work well for F@H, and you are not likely to get many points from them. From the energy and stress that F@H causes, I wouldn't bother trying to get your card to work.
Once you've completed your first WU (Work Unit) your stats shall be uploaded to the F@H servers, and you can make your own forum signature, as seen with many other users.
