New threads?

It's right below the search box on the upper right, "View New Content".
i think he means the panel that was on the very right of the top end of the forums (recent topics, or something like that)
i think someones tweaking the vB backend, playing with options etc so it may well return

I second that, I thought that was a really good feature. I'd have personally liked 2 different sections; New posts in a thread, and entirely new threads themselves

I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine it's a permissions issue as they are doing that type of maintenance in the back end. I'd hazard a guess that you should see it again sooner or later.

Aye, I got all exited when I looked at the forums a few weeks ago, as it was back. Turns out i'd cleared my internet history etc. and had been logged out :(

Why remove the feature for some people, while others still have it? If people don't want it they can just disable it, even if only a small portition of the forum is going to use it, why not let them? I mean it's still available for mods and admins.

Sometimes i don't understand your logic TTL, why refuse to add a potentially useful feature just because the majority is going to disable it? Why refuse the peripheral section?

I think that TTL as made a lot of people leave this forum tbh.

Ok guys calm down, I am sure TTL has his own reasons for doing what he does, also any people he has made leave, 50 times that number join because of him

Click the "quick links" button at the top of the page and from the drop down menu click "todays posts"

Exactly.

I think I've made a fair few leave over the last few months too :)
At the end of the day - it's up to him what he does. As I'm sure he'd say - 'If you dont like it leave' - There are plenty of other forums around, and generally the people that complain about the petty things arent the people who plan on hanging around anyway.
