new super pi results

just run some super pi tests.

1 meg done in 26 seconds soon as i get my ide hard drive 25 seconds.

done 8 meg in a amazing 5 min 2 seconds. finaly topples brwmogazos 5 min 12 seconds.

just running the 32 meg super pi for full stablility.

will post results soon as they come in...

did it in 25 min 59 seconds...

Do intels do better at superPi than athlons? (of the FX variety) is superpi more of an overall clock speed kind of a deal. Also isn't there lots of patches and stuff out now that boost your score or something silly?

How do you do in Pifast?

the patches r for the prescots only.

dont work on the fx cpu,z.

Not mine, my best is 25m 03s, the other guy fredyama, he's done really well - but look how tight his timings are - the memory is set at cas 1.5!!!!

Those scores were achieved using the DFI Lanparty PRO875B REV B1 motherboard, but the Prescott 3.4 drew too much power through the board, it lasted about a week at those settings!!

Changed to ASUS P4C800E (droop modded and OCZ booster) and it's just a little slower and for some reason I cant get to that score (I think 25mins 26s was my best shot).

I'd love to see what a 3500 winchester @3Ghz can achieve.

I am still torn in my next upgrade - I know it's going to be SLi, I know it's going to be 6800GT x2, I know it's going to be Nforce 4 - I know its going to be PC4000 DDR RAM.

I don't know which CPU to get!!

I would like to buy a winchester 3500, if I could get some feedback on how well it performs under MACHII - but if I can't get that information then I am going to have to scrap plans for a Prommie2 (upgrade from my MACHII) and get an FX-55.

Scores that really interest me are:

3dmark2001SE

Superpi (1m and 32m)

DOOM 3 timedemo

Any sort of encoding performance benchmark

right my best so far score in 2001 is 36714 points.

and thats using a fx55 and sata drives.

sata drives dont like big fsb.

soon as i get a ide hard drive and windows 200 on 37k easy meat.

the best i have done super pi 1 meg is 26 seconds.

I get the same score as you for the 1m. 26 seconds. I haven't tried the others but we must be pretty close for CPU/Memory. I am stable at 12 x 271 ,2.5,3,3,7.

I just managed an amazing 8 meg super pi in 4 min. 51 seconds....got you by 4 seconds!!

Thanx Boardy....there are more than a few of us that have the "addiction"....I'm on my 3rd phase change setup and two of my systems, A vapochill original and the mach 1 have had 4 different platforms in one and 2 in the prom

...the FX-55 in the mach 1 is pretty decent though.
