New speakers suggestion and layout

I've changed my desk around and now it looks like this

I still have my old Logitech X530 which have been great over the years, especially the remote for when I had to turn off speakers to use headphones and thanks to STX II I can do that just by changing to headphone mode so haven't used the remote in months.
With a new setup I'm looking to change them as well.

What would you get and where would you place them?
Budget up to £200-250 if it's really worth it, no preference to 2.0 or 2.1, however I think 5.1/7.1 would be a waste in such a small space.

I'm running Klipsch Promedia 2.1's and love them. Excellent sound and plenty of output. More geared to games and movies moreso than music but still very good. Might not work great on your desk tho since you're not centered in front of the monitors.

A soundbar setup could work. I know Razer makes one that would fit under your primary monitor and would blend in well. It also has a powered sub for it I've not heard them tho so can't say how they sound. Check around some because it does look like a soundbar and powered subwoofer would be best for your setup.

Can't seem to be able to find those in UK, found them on eBay from US but like £40 shipping and then have to pay customs as well.

Yeah I was actually, thinking of shifting my monitors slightly to the right so they sit in the middle as opposed to now but first have to get some storage under the desk and see how much space I have left.

Again, I havent heard these so I dont know if they sound good or not but I think it would be a safe buy. Ive used Razer headphones before and they performed well. Not audiophile quality of course but still very good. Main thing with this setup is that you wouldnt have to rearrange your monitors any and they would blend in very well.

You could also go with a quality 2.1 setup and just move your secondary monitor over a little so you can place the speakers on either side of your primary screen. I run two monitors as well but my 2nd monitor is off to the left about 4 inches from the main monitor and I have my Klipsch speakers mounted to either side of it. I only use my 2nd monitor for my monitoring programs like Afterburner and CPU Meter.

Thanks, will check it out but have to say I've never been a fan of Razer products and not sure I should start now :) but I'll check some reviews and see what people say.

There's a nice 2.1 Bose set worth looking at too, the companion 3 iirc. I've no doubt that the Corsair 2.1's sub is just a little on the big side for you but it is great too. If neither of those suit you see if you can afford the desk space to a pair of studio monitors. Klipsch, Bose and Corsair always come up as the PC orientated set in that price range.

I know klipsch have a very strong mid-range line, series is RM. They have the rm14/15. 14 being smaller and less expensive, while the 15 is the opposite. They are classified as bookshelf speakers for an idea of there size. From what I've seen the rm14 is the best speaker in the price range. I don't personally have them but they are rated extremely well

Yeah they're not too popular on the forums. I've owned several Razer products including 2 keyboards, multiple mice and a headset and have never had a problem with any of them. Personally I think the Razer hate is a little over the top.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Read a lot of reviews over the weekend and ended up going for PreSonus Eris E5, just need to find some wall mounts for them and I'm set.

Yeah, I agree Razer is not all bad and the hate-train is too much sometimes but I figure the Razer speakers are more geared to gaming and personally have more faith in a company that does audio only, that and the reviews are in PreSonus's favour.

I have Logitech Surround Sound Speaker System Z906. I've been using Logitech products for years. They are well made and dependable, and at the right price. The Z906 is no exception. Well made, easy to set up, sound is crisp and clear and a snap to adjust. One drawback is the front speakers cannot be adjusted independently. I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this product and in this price range you cannot go wrong.
