Good morning chaps,
I'm looking to get a new monitor as my current 17" is dying quite a painful death. I can still see my desktop background most of the time, it's pretty old and has had a decent life though.
However as a student my cash is fairly limited, I'm looking for something around £100. I've been having a google about and seen that really at my price range I'm in the 19" to 20" widescreen end of the market. Tbh I'm happy getting something of that size. I've also found that DVI is probably the thing to be going for but looks as though it's just about out of my price range. I have found this Samsung which offers it:
SM2033SW
Do I got for this or do I go for a cheaper 19"/20" vga screen? Something maybe like this:
benQ lotsofnumbersandletters
I haven't really got the cash to stretch the budget as anything else on top of a ton is going to eat in to my hdd and sound card fund. As I don't intend to upgrade my graphics card this side of summer I don't think a bigger res is really worth investing in right now.
Any help would be great, cheers!
