i want to build a new gaming rig, i'm thinking to get a z68 chipset...anyone have a suggestion to which i should choose?

budget is around £150 for the mobo.

The gigabyte ga-z68x-ud3h-b3 is a good board. But i'm not sure of pricing over in europe in here in the states can pick one up for 150 dollars.

I just built a Boinc rig using a MSI platinum SLI X58 board, £80 from a certain auction site. I flashed to latest BIOS and stuck an i7 980X which cost me £360, also from an auction site. The MSI board performs well, going into the cell menu for overclocking does seems a bit of a time warp compare to my ASUS X79 rig but overclocking was simple enough. One thing that was annoying was the MSI live update feature refused to work saying I had the latest BIOS version, when clearly, I didn't. I don't know what your budget is but there are plenty of cheap X58 mobo out there if want to really get the most bang for your buck.

If you want to go for Z68 I think you'd be hard pushed not to go for the Gigabyte UD4 as it's only £95 on Aria atm

And yes the Z77 boards will be out v.soon, pretty sure mobo release is 1st week in April and new cpu's at the end of April

This is what I have. Its great because then you can create a smaller rig without the lack of absolute power. This thing will bump an i5 to 4.6ghz with literally one click in the BIOS. And 5ghz is just as easy.
