They are great, and they can be quiet as well. just make sure they plugged into a 4pin header and they will be quiet. And better yet plug them into a fan controller. They are louder than most but nothing that is remotely un-bearable. When you max them they are around 30db and min is 13db. but move a HELL of a lot of air. at 13db they are 600rpm and move roughly 30cfm and 30db 2000rpm will move about 90cfm.
A good comparison: I put these on a noctua Nh-d14 on a 4ghz 1090t with 1.53v and my max temp was 41c with the fans at 2000rpm.
Very cool. I think my friend will do better with something like the Magmas or the T.B.Silence fans. My friend likes quietness, but also likes running fans at full speed. Thank you so much for the suggestions.
