New prototype wireless display technology

I don't think it would be good for gaming (a bit pointless too), but it would definitely be very useful for corporate presentations and the like

Stick multiple monitors all over the place. I havent read the entire article ( just whats on this site) but what about going multiple monitors and response speed? surely there would be some delay and alot of cpu power needed??

or am i just being highly sceptical about the need for it??

Probably GPU power.. ;)

You know what i mean...just seems pointless...good idea.. been wondering when someone would do it...but unless you wanna take your monitor to the toilet then meh...

just need to find a way to power one long enough without wires. Lithium powered monitors FTW!!!

I've been expecting all components to go wireless at some point. As long as it works, good latency etc then I don't see why not as it'll cut down on cable mess!

except the power cord :P

Erm, there were trials going on somewhere for that. Somebody posted about it like last year >.<

I can see us using this. It sounds like a tremendous expense, will impress, cut down on cables and very luxurious piece of kit.

We`ll definately get it.

I dream in a completely wireless world, including WiPower. :)

Good to see the next evolution of wireless peripherals.
