New project: Case Modding

I'm looking at taking a cheap ass case (namely one in the Casecom KM series, because I have exact measurements for these, and modding it with an £80 budget. What I have planned so far is to remove the plastic front panel, and replace it with a sheet of aluminium, anodised and dyed black, with holes for a 360mm rad for when I have the money for a custom loop. Bolted to the front of this using 34mm spacers will be another aluminium panel, with nothing but a dimastech power switch on it. I will also completely remove all the drive bays and optical bays, to make way for the fans/rad. I will also cut a window into the case, and then make an acrylic motherboard tray/psu cover, with carbon fibre vinyl covering it for looks. I have all of the CAD designs for the aluminium panels and I know where I can buy both the custom cut panels I need for £5, and where I can get them anodised for £35.

Things I need advice on:
What I need help with is firstly how to go about cutting the holes into the aluminium sheets. At my school we have laser cutter, but will this be any use? If not, what should I do?

(Things will be added to the list over time, but until then, just post your thoughts or whatever)

Seems like an interesting project.

What kind of laser cutter is it? Most of them just cut/engrave wood, won't do a scratch to any metal whatsoever.

If the laser cutter is just for wood you could test some stuff with a dremel, there's plenty tutorials on Youtube on how to use it properly, it can look really neat :)

For the holes mounting it to the front of the case, I'd just drill a hole and file it. Obviously do all of this before getting it anodised.
