New Prime95 28.5 and 4790k

Hi,

I'm in the final stages of testing... after a AIDA64 test and older Prime95.
Temps are in the 50c-60c and passing.
Wow, is it the norm to be hitting temps in the 90c's when using the new Prime95 v28.5 (AVX/AVX2)?

I'm using a XSPC RX480 Quad 480mm Radiator V3 rad and a EK-Supremacy Clean CSQ CPU block, I do have the VRM cooled as part of the loop. But I would not think it would add to much heat.

Is this the norm on these chips?

Prime95 will push your cpu to its total limits, and this looks normal to me. try the small ftt and you will get even higher temps then you get now

4.6Ghz @ 1.24v

Yer small FFTs are a killer on Prime95 28.5 .. But on the old Prime95 (26.6) it's no where near as bad even on small FFTs.
