New PC- Cannot Decide

MHz > Timings

1600 MHz is the sweet spot for price and performance at the moment. You won't noticable performance improvements paying more for quicker RAM.

Ok...so im looking here

The thing is that there are different kits for 8 Gigs (corsair vengence) with different CL and MHz with only a marginal price increase (10-30 euros). Can you recommend a good RAM ?

For the SSD ive made up my mind about Samsung 830, unless you recommend a better SSD in the same price point ?

4k kills with the m98b...... oh my
:D ^^ I love it mate....my friends prefer L96 or even the SV because of their capacity and follow up time... but i just dont give many f*cks and make bullets count...also quite :( at how un-realistic the m98b is, IRL its good enough to one hit kill an armoured soldier over 3 Km but here....people survive even at point blank to the chest :/

yep..thats the one im getting ( except in black- hate this bright red ) but should i shell out 20 euros more for CL8 ?

Can anyone give me a clue as to how much can i get by selling my old stuff ?
Processor: Q6600 Quad Core
Motherboard: MSI P7N 750i Tri-SLI

RAM: OCZ ReaperX 8 Gigs

GPU: HIS Radeon 5870 1 GB

CPU Cooler: I think its an antec (fan in the middle and 2 fin stacks in the sides) Works damn well

I can use money from this to decide which GPU i can upgrade to......( 7950 ? )

Nah, the timings really mean nothing mate.
As for selling your old parts, I really couldn't tell you. Look up your parts on ebay to give you an idea of the prices.
7950 is a solid card.

Looked on ebay....seems like my GPU alone is going for around 180 euros (even thats a refurb- mine has never been opened or OC'ed)

Agree with Josh all the way.

i7 for gaming is a waste of money, games just don't use that many threads. They prefer fewer, more powerful individual threads. Better to spend that extra cash on the GPU :D

I've got a 3570k with twin 7950s and the CPU is a great match.

Finally got this

i7 3770K
Corsair H80
Corsair Vengence PC15000
MSI G65
Samsung 830 (it seems to be a bit better then the sandforce controller ones)

if you guys dont agree with the mobo choice i can prolly return it and get something else...

Good choice on the SSD... I have one that replaced my OCZ Vertex.

The Samsung works flawlessly unlike my shitty old OCZ (had major problems with it).

My Samsung drive is probably the best upgrade I've bought in years.
