New Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti specifications leak, revealing a monstrous number of CUDA core

If these specs are correct along with the generational and lithography improvement, AMD are going to be in pain when this thing launches unless they can pull a miracle out of a hat with big Navi or price is stupidly low.

I just hope we can get a 1440p240hz capable card or at least thereabout. Even 4k 144hz would be ideal. Probably still cost 2080ti money though

They boasted their new cooler cost $150 alone. To me thats a hint that they are trying to justify a price hike. I expect it to be more

IIRC it was from the guy who leaked the pics. I guess he would know, given he was where they were being made.

How greedy? as greedy as they like. If the last few years were not enough of a display of that then I don't really know what else to say.

They have become the "supreme" of the GPU world. Or the Apple of the computing world. All about image, all about people wanting to be better than other people and they know that and will capitalise on it to the max.

so a 3080ti and a 10990k should be enough for me to melt the polar caps right?
Nvidia "We can make the most efficient GPU's anytime we want to", 320 watts of heat being dispersed screams efficiency, hopefully this isn't true

Maybe AMD aren't even gonna bother trying to compete in that space. Maybe they don't need to. If they can smash the 2080Ti and match or beat the 3080 in price to performance, while also offering competitive RT, I think that'd be enough.
