11,400 DPI on my Sensei, with no acceleration and Windows sensitivity on the default 1:1 settingPersonally I recommend the Sensei, especially if you have a finger grip. But if you use a palm grip, probably opt for a Razer Mamba.![]()
I have a palm grip, and I heard people saying that sensei is not the most comfortable mouse for palm grip user.
Yeah to choose mouse is really hard thing for me now![]()
I use a pincer/ mandable grip for the sides and then index and middle finger for clicking with the thumb for macro on my Sentinel, then any other mice I use (cheap mice for rigs I don't use the mice of for very long) the same grip but just drag the mouse further under between the pincer - but anyone can adapt to anything - it's not the hand that should be doing the moving, it's the arm - generating movement from your hand is how people get themselves wristache within 30 mins of gaming.
you didn't say what you are going to use the mouse for, and so i will recommend something most would not, BUT hear me out. logitech g700
YESYES i know its wireless, BUT its got 1000Hz response time (like the 2012 mamba) and can work both wireless and wired (with or without the battery) and you said that you don't want a small mouse, and you like ur mouse heavy, AND you have a palm grip. this thing is perfect. I have it and i am like u, i like palm grip and a heavy mouse, and most mice are too small for me (my palm is about 12cm long and 9cm wide) this one is almost perfect (i still wish it was just a cm or two bigger)
I had couple of logitech mouses not all been gaming and other stuff like keyboards etc. and most of the time after some time I was getting problems with drivers, so now I can only buy logitech speakers but nothing else from them. Maybe you are lucky that you never had a problem with them cuz I know quite few people that also had problem with logitech drivers.Haven't had any trouble with Logitech drivers in the years that I've used Logitech mice.. (Logitech G5, G9 and G500)
I have done research over the rat7 and I decided to not go for it because, the scroll wheel is not the best, the overall build quality isnt the best as well, and also the sensor on that mouse can be a problem, its really nice mouse, because you can customize it like you want. I have no problem with build quality of my lachesis and the only problem I have with this mouse is that is disconnecting couple times a day and its pissing me off, it already over the warranty time so cannot replace it, but overall I really like this mouse. The click on lachesis is rapid fast and I dont have problems with it. What razer mouses did you had???I personally would go for a Cyborg R.A.T.7 it comes in black or white and has loads of nifty functions if your into FPS especially. I don't like Razors, had two previously and they died within a year, mouse click went funny on both, had to hold it down extremely hard or it would flicker between clicked and not really fast making it hard to drag and drop.
What's wrong with RAT sensor? Been using it for a couple of days now and it works like a charm.
The RAT uses the Phillips Twin-Eye sensor, same as the Razer Imperator, Mamba and Naga EPIC. The problem with the sensor is that on certain surfaces and mousepad it goes or jumpy or the tracking just goes way off.
Actually, the Mamba 2012 has the highest precision and accuracy of all gaming mice this year. It does utilize this "new" technology that they refer to as 4G DSS (Dual Sensor System) and can experience minor issues. As it takes advantage of both an optical and laser sensor, there will be very few times (if at all) where the mouse cursor moves inconsistently IF you calibrate to the surface you game on. It is, by far, the best mouse I have ever used.
I was looking at the Mamba 2012 and have heard nothing but complaints about it.

I'm not really big fan of rat9, cuz it doesnt have that good wirreles connection like mamba. TBF the glide7 looks ugly for me(its just personal preference) I really dont like mouse pads with some cyborgs or similar staff on it, I think thats for kids, just prefer plain looking mouse pads, and I will be getting Steelseries QCK Heavy.I have the R.A.T 9 and would recommend it. No problems with it so far and personally I think it is very comfortable to use and also looks great.
For a mouse mat try the G.L.I.D.E 7, works well for me but it is quite large. (I have my keyboard on it as well)
