I Am thinking of replacing my motherboard that i have had for the past 2 years and keeping everything else the same. I was wondering if it was simple to do and if it would cause any problems.the motherboard i have right now is an acer and i don't know anything about it it didn't come with a manual or anything and i don't think i can overclock either. the processor the memory and the mobo are all stock they were originally in the pc when i got it i recently upgraded my graphics card and psu too.I want to be able to overclock too. this is the mobo im thinking of getting here if you know any other good mobos under £200 show me.

read the review on this site dude!

I would look for a motherboard that has more spacing between the two 16x PCIe slots. When it comes to SLI/CF sandwiching two cards so close to eachother is not the best way to do it.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys...but aren't Acer, HP, Dell,Compaq and the rest proprietary PC's??

I'm bringing this up because the last time I bought any of those off the shelf brands I had a H**l of a time replacing things when they went bad. You had a limited choice of replacements and you could almost only get them from the manufacturer. Granted I haven't bought one of those POS systems in ages.

We do need more information though if were to help. Such as the case model and PSU to start off with. The Mobo might not fit in case because of Acer designed Case, Mobo and PSU.

Seriously...you would be better off building a rig from ground up.

replace the word intel with Acer etc...

Wow. I guess it shows how long I've been out of building. Last time I had an HP the video and sound were on board. You could replace the sound but if video went out you had to get another Mobo from HP Lol

That got me out of buying any manufactured PC
