So I've been contacted by new member Bammage about modding his case a 540 Air, and I have to say it's a rather novel idea and I'd like to see what options you guys can come up with and maybe help point this guy in the right direction.

Been in to pc's for years n love building my own rigs.

Regularly watching oc3d on YouTube and on Facebook and its because of the guvnors orca build that iv signed up.

I know tom dedicated his orca build to his mum and sadly my mum passed away on the 15th November so my home server/downstairs gaming rig is being dedicated to my mum..she used to moan at me for being on my pc so much when I was a kid so as a comical twist im going to build another rig in a white corsair carbide air 540 with a nice big picture of her on the side panel which means she will always be on my pc too :).
The problem is I am not a modder..I just love building my own pc's and doing them for friends and family so I dont know where the best place is to get my mums picture put on to the side panel..I did want to get in contact with Tom Logan my self but not sure how.
So if anyone can point me in the right direction or atleast some names of quality and trustworthy companies that could help then it would be amazing.
Thanks
Bammage

So I thought maybe air brushing or printed onto adhesive vinyl and applied that way? If any of you guys have options or know of anyone that could do this please say in the thread below.

Laser etching is always another option, etching the powder coating off works remarkably well without being too bold and overstated. Never tried it on a white case though so wouldn't be too sure about the final effect.

thanks for your help guys this side of mods is all new to me, iv had a few people telling me vinyl would be a good way, and so far sounds like the most cost effective too which at this time is helpful thanks to funeral costs :(
Is there anyone in the forum that has done the vinyl adhesive idea? if so how well does it look? any advice is always welcome :)
Thanks again to wraith for opening this thread :)

You could have a word with a local digital printers about having an image printed onto adhesive vinyl. I think Logoshack is quite close to you.
