I could mount it on the back of my TV, get a remote for it and install XBMC live. Here's a video of it in action.

It can handle 1080p video and will be set up to stream from my server. You think i should go for it?

EDIT: for some reason the bloke has installed it on a flash drive?!?

only problem im thinking of at the minute is flash, it doesnt handle it well. But adobe hvae just release a beta of flash that gpu accelleration

not got it yet, its on ebuyer.com. theres two versions one with the atom 330 and this with the atom 230.

there are a few different configurations including one with just a dvd write.

good, just want to know since its a single core if there is any problems , i no it takes around 40 secs to boot

yeah, hoping to get the standby working well.

There are also ones with the 330 now, but there around £250

yeah i was checking that out, not sure 100quid is worth dual core and 1gb more ram and 140g bigger hdd

yeah thats what i thought. If these £150 ones dont use much electricity then i'll just leave them on. Wont have to wait for it to boot up.

I liked the new ION 330 HTBD, Looks a nice little bit of kit.

Only down side is it's probably the loudest of the Intel® Dual Core Atom™ 330 machines. But it's not WAY TOO loud.
