New GPU

Hello. I have a little problem, my hd 4870 GPU died so I am sitting now on afreshly baked 8800 GTS so I have about 2 weeks for getting new GPU. Now, I have only about 60$ (160 PLN). Both card gave me decent fps in BF4 on medium (30-80) I considered buying gtx 260 but I heard it can die fast. Do you have any propositions?

Well in the ballpark of the 260 I would actually suggest the 260x or 265 for AMD, or GTX 750/750Ti. The 750Ti outperforms 260/260x, while the 750(non-Ti) should outperform the 260(non-x) all with lower power consumption. However the power consumption is much lower of a spread once you get in the 750/260 range.

Pretty good cards but out of my range the cheapest ones are from500 to 600 PLN which is about 200$ so I am looking for something cheaper

I'm not sure sure on what to suggest, with prices in dollars and the specs you want, sorry man! Wanted to reply though to say i read&thought about it. Apologies i'm absolutely no help whatsoever

All I really want is decent framerate in BF4 and thats all. Also I am on side of Nvidia cause Radeons are pretty faulty.

That's cool, although you have mantle aswell for any newer amd's. How would a 7790 perform/price compared to your 4870?

its 200$ too. I spent for 4870 half year ago about 60$
