hi, i am looking to up grade my 2 year old 5770, to be honest it still does what i need it to, but i want more power, i play wow cod and bf3. i am seriously looking at the asus 560 ti direct cuII top, it is on amazon for £180. i will also need a new psu, i dont want to spend over 80, and am looking at the ocz modxtream pro 600, i know that the 7k series is around the corner but i am itching for an upgrade and have never had nvidia gpu. i have no intention of sli or x-fire, i just want a single gpu that will last me 2 years min for most games at max settings at playable framerates, my main screen is 1680x1050 and i run a 1024x768 next to it for various monitoring tools etc. i have only recently upgrade my mobo and ram from ddr2, and am thinking of later in the year of getting a x4 phenom. would my phenom x2 550 oc'd to 3.7 ghz throttle the 560? please help, thanks guys/gals.

ps. please dont anyone suggest i trade in for intel cpu, i like the upgrade path that AMD have designed into ther products.

Yes I also agree. At £200 your probably looking at a 7850 if the 7950 comes in at £350 and the 7870 at £260-£280.

You should either go for the msi gtx 560 ti twin frozer 2, or wait for the new amd gpu's altho they seem to be way over priced

I have the the 560 ti twin frozr II 2 gb version and it runs bf3 like butter and it was a whisker over two hundie from aria and im on 2560x1440 graphics are lush and smooth and i havent bothered overclocking it yet so even when the keplers come out and the prices go dow. You could get one like mine as it would save you a few more coin
