Looks good but i would change the following..

Get a Fractal Arc Midi R2. Personally IMO it is a superior case and cheaper.. i have an R4 and i wish i would have gotten a Midi.

Since the Midi has a window though you should upgrade the d14 to a H80i or h100i for aesthetics(and slight performance increase).

As you also said i would personally would wait for the GPU side of things.

Be carefull about those ram speeds. The FX chips have a tendency to only run about 1866mhz. But it looks good dude. Good luck with the build

Agreed with all of this.

Also; Don't expect to go SLI in the future on that AMD platform, not even with a PSU supply upgrade. Just saying :)

Thanks for the replies, about the case I wanted the define R4 because I was looking for a quiet pc this time around.
I was not looking to go sli but thanks for the heads up. And on the ram front there are also these which I have looked at, personal preference towards the kingston beast.

Oh and the cooler yea the H100i is only just over £10 more than the H80i so I'd go for that thx.

The R4 with a window doesn't dampen the sound much because well... It's half plastic. The non-window version will help much more but then it is just a normal size case that costs quite a bit. Arc Midi R2 is the better overall case. Plus with an h100i you could run the fans slow and still keep the case(computer) pretty quite.

So a few new things which I edited my first post for. I've been looking the phantom 530 I like the look of it but still would like opinions, and don't want to spend more than £100 on a case especially if I need to get more fans which I would for this case.

in terms of SLI with this processor I'd say the max config you could have without the cpu starting to bottleneck it is two 770s.
