I have about 300GBP to spend on a mobo and CPU

do i go i5 2500K and Asus P67mobo?

Or Phenom X6 and a suitable CPU?

I think going 2500k is the way, the overclocking of these seams really good, and im sure it would like my full watercooling kit to sqeeze even more out of it.
