Right im need a new monitor to go with my new build, it will be mainly used for HD gaming and i want it to look crystal clear, but i don't know much about monitors, can anyone help, any recommendations, ive been looking at the ASUS VE278Q 27", and the Benq XL2410T 24", are these any good and are there any really good ones i should know about? Thanks

The BenQ XL2410T monitor is very good especially for the money. I have one myself and I can tell you playing at 120hz is much nicer as everything is much smoother especially in fast paced games like shooters.

The monitor has a number of settings for resolution so you can at the touch of a button adjust the monitors scaling to 19" 19"wide 22" 22"wide and 24"wide. You can set the monitor up for it auto scales to the game your playing so for me I play counter strike at 800x600 res because thats what I am used to and heads are a little bigger and easier to see so when I got my new monitor it auto switches into 19" mode and is the exact same as my old 19" dell monitor but at 120hz instead. I would recommend this monitor for gaming any day.

Go xl2420t. Fixed some issues. I have one and its flipping sweet. It even makes crap games worth playing just to see the scenery move past you.... no lie

This. You missed the most important bit
