hi there i dont post much as i dont really do benching much these days.

so i got a commando mobo, have done the v-core mod and the droop as always,

anyway surprised to see that the commando hasnt got a lower divider from the 1:1.

played a little last night after setting it all up and got a 3.9ghz clock with my 2.4 conroe, limited by my ram, otherwise i would of defo got to 4ghz with it:(, but still its better than the 3.5ghz that i could achieve in the P5W DH:D

pikkie linkage

good old thickie said i can nick his ram to try out before i get some better stuff to run myself:D , i'll get to 4gig!!!

i also have another problem with the commando

i lose the IDE for my cd-rom when i choose raid in the bios?????:(

i have changed the rom for a HD and new cable but without results, i think its in the bios somewhere but for the life of me cant find it,silly as i can see it in the bios before choosing to set up the raid???

any help will be gratefully recieved as i need a fresh install.

gary give me ring i will pm phone number see if i can help

there is a bios setting that disables the ide bus its in with the settings for audio and lan

i'll post more soon as.....

a question for Mr.Bazx

have you noticed a difference in overclocking whilst having the divider set to auto with the commando?

it wont clock well at all if i set mine to 1:1 but in auto i've managed to get my ram stable to 430mhz giving me a clock of 3.870mhz, i have the 1501 bios, i was curious to know if maybe there are hidden dividers within the bios.

hi gary mine always picked 2:3 if left in auto

put memset on your computer it will show which divider you are using

ok i have run memset and it shows me on the 1:1, but if i select it in the bios then i cant get anywhere near the clocks i have at the moment.................weird.

you have trfc set tight there gary try these setting @ 2.3v 1:1

nah... 28 shouldnt be too tight should it? Theres a fair few 954 results on XS at 600MHz RAM with 21-28 tRFC.

sure it can be run tighter but for this oc i would work on the sub timings later

just get the oc working

i'am really on the edge of what the ram can do(its rated to do 266mhz) it does not like anymore than 2.0v currently running it @1.9750v

If i use thickbrits ram i can get a clock close to 4.2-4.4ish, with some work possibly 4.5, but not with my ram:(.

i guess i'll have to kind of steal it from him without him noticing:shhh::D
