New case with great airflow! Enthoo Pro or CM690 III ?

After nearly 8years with my old Cooler Master CM 690 nVidia Edition case I am thinking it's time for something new - also because the case is showing it's age with some rust spots on the bare metal inside. Also the option for better cable management than now would be nice.

I am looking for a case that fits my taste and the primary criteria for it is that it must have superb (not just good but great) airflow to cool my current 3 way SLi setup but also my future ones.

I have found one case that I particular like very much and think is as visually appealing to me as my old CM 690.
I have been thinking of getting the Phanteks Enthoo Pro with side window

However I wonder if it will provide good airflow for three cards ? Noise is of no real issue for me (but not insanely loud)

Would this case be a good replacement ?

Else I have thought of the Cooler Master CM 690 III Green edition

I know CM 690 always have a good reputation for GPU cooling - just like my current one, which is why I've had it for so long.

What are you're guys thoughts ? are there any other cases I should consider ? (I have looked at the Corsair 500R but not sure if that's good with airflow )
Looking to spend max £100

Hey Gripen90, I have the Corsair 500R, and for a 3 way SLI setup, I wouldn't recommend it as distance between the bottom GPU and the PSU might leave you unhappy. I replaced the side 200mm fan with a plexi window (frosted), and I've made some minor upgrades that I have yet to post pictures of, but for a 3 card setup, I don't think it would be your best option.

I like your choice of the Phanteks Enthoo Pro. It is a really nice looking case, but If I had to do it all over again, I'd go for the Corsair Air 540. Only the necessary components are visible and the cooling options are superb. The cheapest one I've found is the Black model of the case and here in the states it runs $130 US or about £97.

Happy Hunting!

Yeah, if you want the best price/performance ratio, ultimate clean looks, epic watercooling and modding support; Enthoo Pro.

If you have 3 way sli then youre plenty nuts enough to spend the money on watercooling them.....

Doesnt matter how deaf you make yourself with "great airflow" it wont ever make THAT much difference

Thank you for the insight :) I had looked at the Air 540 and I also had it very briefly for a test/review setup, however since there wasn't enough room for the HDD's I'm using, and the SSD holder I thought was a bit flimsy, I decided not to go for the case.

Enthoo pro. Everytime :D

I also think that would be the case although I could stretch my budget to the Corsair Obsidian 750D - it looks like a great case too but the airflow from the front seems very poor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXcrfhquNJE :(

I am very keen on getting the Enthoo Pro - it really has the looks :D

Watercooling will not be an option for me. I change GFX almost every year, so H2O isn't really viable for me - too much cash (new waterblocks etc) and hassle when I change so often. I prefer to have easy access and be able to swap around without regards for tubing and water.
I have had 3x GTX 280/470/580/670 and now 3x 780s running on air in my CM690. I want a new case that can do the same and provide good GPU cooling for years to come

At the moment I have my sights on the Phanteks Enthoo Pro :beerchug:

Don't get the Obsidian 750D, Phanteks stuff is better made and seeing as how you're not a frequent case changer I'd imagine that matters ;P.

You're right about that. I want a case that will last me at least 5years :) I am pretty convinced the Enthoo Pro will be my new 'house' :D

No Enthoo Pro for me at the moment. Just got home from the movies. Unaware, appearently my parking ticket flew up and was stuck between the dashboard and the front screen when I closed the door, making it not very clear and visible with the time stamp from the outside...so I came out to find a £75 parking fine on my windscreen..... FFS !! X (
